What is CopeCount?
CopeCount is a lightweight macOS menu bar app that tracks your cryptocurrency portfolio. It shows your total holdings, profit/loss, and percentage returns at a glance.
No browser tabs, no clunky apps. Just your numbers in the menu bar.
Where does the price data come from?
Prices are fetched from CoinGecko's public API. This provides reliable, real-time data for thousands of cryptocurrencies.
Prices update automatically while the app is running.
Is my portfolio data stored online?
No. All your data is stored locally on your Mac. We have no servers, no accounts, and no access to your information.
Your holdings never leave your device.
Which cryptocurrencies are supported?
CopeCount supports any cryptocurrency available on CoinGecko. This includes Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and thousands of altcoins and tokens.
Does it connect to my exchange or wallet?
No. CopeCount is a manual tracker. You enter your holdings and cost basis yourself. This means no API keys, no wallet connections, and no security risks.
You control what data goes in.
What macOS versions are supported?
CopeCount requires macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later. It runs natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
How much does CopeCount cost?
CopeCount is free to download with a $7.99 one-time purchase to unlock all features. All future updates are included.
